The CogTool website at Carnegie Mellon has been taken down

The CogTool website at Carnegie Mellon was taken down the first week of March 2014. All the content has been saved and will eventually appear here. I also intend to answer questions through this blog. Soon, I promise… (a song from “A Little Night Music”)

  1. The old site had a page of links to tutorial videos. They were very helpful! Where can I find them now? An exact link would be great because I’m having difficulty finding things.

  2. Unfortunately, we have not transferred any videos from the CMU CogTool site to anywhere else yet. Do you happen to remember if the videos you are talking about were the ones labeled “DRAFT_DRAFT_DRAFT_Student_made videos”? I can hunt for videos on an laptop and figure out how to get them uploaded somewhere if I had more of a clue which ones you found useful. Thanks.

    1. Sorry I don’t remember whether that was the label but I remember a page full of links to tutorial videos. The links were ordered such that I was able to worked my way down the list, clicking links in the order they appeared on the page, to create my first CogTool project. There was a disclaimer about the videos being rough (perhaps that’s how I’m remembering “DRAFT_DRAFT_DRAFT_Student_made videos”). Thank you.
